Elizabeth Woolridge Grant(born June 21, 1985), known professionally as Lana Del Rey, is an American singer-songwriter. Her music is noted for its cinematic quality and exploration of tragic romance, glamour, and melancholia, containing references to contemporary pop culture, as well as 1950s and 1960s Americana. She is the recipient of various accolades, including two Brit Awards, two MTV Europe Music Awards, a Satellite Award, and received nominations for six Grammy Award and a Golden Globe Award.
Raised in upstate New York, Del Rey moved to New York City in 2005 to pursue a music career. After numerous projects, including her self-titled debut studio album, Del Rey's breakthrough came in 2011 with the viral success of her single "Video Games"; she subsequently signed a recording contract with Polydor and Interscope. She achieved critical and commercial success with her second album, Born to Die(2012), which contained the sleeper hit "Summertime Sadness". Del Rey's third album, Ultraviolence(2014), featured greater use of guitar-driven instrumentation and debuted atop the U.S. Billboard 200. Her fourth and fifth albums, Honeymoon(2015) and Lust for Life(2017), saw a return to the stylistic traditions of her earlier releases, while her critically acclaimed sixth album, Norman Fucking Rockwell! (2019), explored soft rock. Del Rey followed this with the albums Chemtrails over the Country Club and Blue Banisters, both in 2021.
Norman Fucking Rockwell! is the sixth studio album by American singer-songwriter Lana Del Rey. It was released on August 30, 2019, by Polydor and Interscope Records. The album was primarily produced by Del Rey and Jack Antonoff, with additional contributions from Zach Dawes, Andrew Watt and longtime Del Rey collaborator Rick Nowels. Musically, Norman Fucking Rockwell! features a soft rock sound consisting of psych-rock jams and piano ballads, and features references to various classic rock artists. The name of the album is a reference to the painter and illustrator Norman Rockwell.
The first singles from the album, "Mariners Apartment Complex" and "Venice Bitch", were released in September 2018, followed by "Hope Is a Dangerous Thing for a Woman like Me to Have – but I Have It", "Doin' Time", "The Greatest", and "Norman Fucking Rockwell" in 2019.
Norman Fucking Rockwell! received widespread critical acclaim, and was nominated for Album of the Year at the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards, while the title track was nominated for Song of the Year. It was listed by several publications as one of the best albums of the decade, and in the years following its release, of all time. To promote the album, Del Rey embarked on a concert tour, titled The Norman Fucking Rockwell! Tour.
Do you want me or do you not?
I heard one thing, now I'm hearing another
Dropped a pin to my parking spot
The bar was hot, it's 2 am, it feels like summer

Happiness is a butterfly
Try to catch it like every night
It escapes from my hands into moonlight
Every day is a lullaby
I hum it on the phone like every night
And sing it for my babies on the tour life
Ah ah

If he's a serial killer, then what's the worst
That could happen to a girl who's already hurt?
I'm already hurt
If he's as bad as they say, then I guess I'm cursed
Looking into his eyes, I think he's already hurt
He's already hurt

I said, "Don't be a jerk, don't call me a taxi"
Sitting in your sweatshirt, crying in the backseat
Ooh
I just wanna dance with you
Hollywood and Vine, Black Rabbit in the alley
I just wanna hold you tight down the avenue
I just wanna dance with you
I just wanna dance with you

Baby, I just wanna dance (dance)
With you (dance)
Baby, I just wanna dance (dance)
With you

Left the canyon, drove to the club
I was one thing, now I'm being another
Go down to Sunset in the truck
I'll pick you up if you're in town on the corner
Ah ah

Happiness is a butterfly
We should catch it while dancing
I lose myself in the music, baby
Every day is a lullaby
Try to catch it like lightning
I sing it into my music, I'm crazy

If he's a serial killer, then what's the worst
That could happen to a girl who's already hurt?
I'm already hurt
If he's as bad as they say, then I guess I'm cursed
Looking into his eyes, I think he's already hurt
He's already hurt

I said, "don't be a jerk, don't call me a taxi"
Sitting in your sweatshirt, crying in the backseat
Ooh
I just wanna dance with you
Hollywood and Vine, Black Rabbit in the alley
I just wanna hold you tight down the avenue
I just wanna dance with you
I just wanna dance with you

Baby, I just wanna dance (dance)
With you (dance)
Baby, I just wanna dance (dance)

With you!

Étrangers dans la nuit
On se regarde
Étrangers dans la nuit
Nos yeux bavardent
C'est bon d'être ainsi
Étrangers dans la nuit

Pourquoi se parler
Mieux vaut se taire
Quand on peut rêver
Devant un verre
Que la nuit s'en va
Mais que l'amour est là

Il aura suffi
Avant que le jour vienne
Il aura suffi
De ta main dans la mienne
Pour changer ma vie
Pour changer mon ciel
Pour que tout là-haut
Dans la nuit brillent
Mille et mille étoiles

Et toi dans la nuit
Tu peux sourire
Déjà j'ai compris
Tu veux me dire
Soyons réunis
Étrangers dans la nuit

Pour nous, tout là-haut
Dans la nuit brillent
Mille et mille étoiles
Et toi dans la nuit
Tu peux sourire
Déjà j'ai compris
Tu veux me dire
Soyons réunis
Étrangers dans la nuit.

My heart is out of control
This ole love struck soul
Just lives for the moment you're around
When I hold on to you

It is all I can do
Just to keep my feet on the ground
Desperately loving you desperately
When you're not here with me
I get a little bit crazy

Constantly I think about you constantly
Look at what you've done to me
I'm just like a little baby
Oh I love you desperately

Will I laugh will I cry
Will I live will I die
It all depends upon you
And it is dangerous I know

To be lost in you so
But I am and there's nothing I can do
Desperately loving you desperately
When you're not here with me

I get a little bit crazy
Constantly I think about you constantly
Look at what you've done to me
I'm just like a little baby
Oh I love you desperately

Desperately loving you desperately
When you're not here with me
I get a little bit crazy
Constantly I think about you constantly

Look at what you've done to me
I'm just like a little baby
Oh I love you desperately.

Fiquei no sofá esperando você

E some igual fumaça

Se até o tempo passa
Imagina o seu amor
Devolve o meu tempo

E some igual fumaça

Se até o tempo passa
Imagina o seu amor
Devolve o meu tempo

Soprou, passou, passou
E o tempo levou
Se é pra viver sofrendo

Eu vou sofrer com um novo amor
Fiquei no sofá esperando você
