Brett Charles Young(born March 23, 1981) is an American country pop singer, songwriter and guitarist from Orange County, California. He was a college baseball pitcher but took up songwriting after an elbow injury. His self-titled debut EP, produced by Dann Huff, was released by Republic Nashville on February 12, 2016. The lead single, "Sleep Without You", was released on April 11, and he had a major success with his following single, "In Case You Didn't Know". He released his second major label álbum Ticket to L.A. in 2018.
"In Case You Didn't Know" is a song recorded by American country pop singer Brett Young and co-written by Young, Trent Tomlinson, Tyler Reeve, and Kyle Schlienger. It was released to radio on January 9, 2017 as the second single from his debut self-titled album(2017). The song has been certified 3× Platinum by the RIAA, the first song by Brett Young to receive a Platinum certification.
The song was written in 2016 during a working trip to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Young co-wrote the song at the retreat with Tyler Reeve, Kyle Schlienger, and Trent Tomlinson. According to Young, the inspiration for the song came from a story told by Peters about his wife Brandy: "[Peters] said when he was a kid, his mom would not be the type to say "I love you" but he seemed to always know it in some way. Peters married his wife in March 1998 and he wanted to show his love for her by co writing this song."
In 2017, Young released a duet version of the song with Irish singer Una Healy
I can't count the times
I almost said what's on my mind
But I didn't
And just the other day
I wrote down all the things I'd say
But I couldn't
I just couldn't

Baby, I know that you've been wonderin'
Mm, so here goes nothin'

In case you didn't know
Baby, I'm crazy 'bout you
And I would be lyin' if I said
That I could live this life without you
Even though
I don't tell you all the time
You had my heart a long, long time ago
In case you didn't know

The way you look tonight
That second glass of wine
That did it
Mm
There was somethin' 'bout that kiss
Girl, it did me in
Got me thinkin'
I'm thinkin'

One of the things that I've been feelin'
Mm, it's time you hear 'em

In case you didn't know
Baby, I'm crazy 'bout you
And I would be lyin' if I said
That I could live this life without you
Even though
I don't tell you all the time
You had my heart a long, long time ago
In case you didn't know

You got all of me
I belong to you
Yeah, you're my everything

In case you didn't know
I'm crazy 'bout you
I would be lyin' if I said
That I could live this life without you
Even though
I don't tell you all the time
You had my heart a long, long time ago
Yeah, you had my heart a long, long time ago
Mm
In case you didn't know
No, no
In case you didn't know.

Lonely, I'm Mr. Lonely
I have nobody for my own
Now I am so lonely, I'm Mr. Lonely
Wish I had someone to call on the phone

Now I'm a soldier, a lonely soldier
Away from home through no wish of my own
That's why I'm lonely, I'm Mr. Lonely
I wish that I could go back home

Letters, never a letter
I get no letters in the mail
I've been forgotten, yes, forgotten
Oh, how I wonder, how is it I failed

Now I'm a soldier, a lonely soldier
Away from home through no wish of my own
That's why I'm lonely, I'm Mr. Lonely
I wish that I could go back home.

I′ll go my lonely way
Now that you're gone
I′ll Walk the lonely streets,
From dusk til dawn.
If I can't Walk along with you,
Then I'll go my lonely way.
Background: Go my Lonely Way
You had to go your way,
I don′t know why.
If friends should ask me dear,
Whats my reply?
Thats why I′ll go on loving you
And go on my lonely way.
I've had my chance for romance
To give my heart anew
But then you said goodbye dear
You know you took my heart
And soul with you.
Each night I say a prayer
For your return, until that day my dear
My heart will yearn.
Till you are in my arms again
I′ll go my lonely way.

WILL YOU STILL LOVE ME TOMORROW

Tonight you're mine, completely
You give your soul so sweetly
Tonight the light of love is in your eyes
But will you love me tomorrow

Is this a lasting treasure
Or just a moment's pleasure
Can I believe the magic in your sighs
And will you still love me tomorrow

Tonight with words unspoken
You say that I'm the only one
But will my heart be broken
When the night meets the morning sun

I'd like to know if your love
Is a love I can be sure of
So tell me now and I won't ask again
Will you still love me tomorrow
Will you still love me tomorrow
Will you still love me tomorrow.
