I laid a red rose on your front porch
And I wrote 'I Love You' on a note
I rang the doorbell and turned to go
Baby when the curtains moved
I couldn't believe the view

I saw the light in your window tonight
I saw two shadows holding each other tight
I know the truth when I look in your eyes
I saw the light in your window tonight

So take your cheating hands off my red dress
'Cause I ain't wearing this thing for you
I see you clearly now, and your lies too
They say that love is blind
Well, baby, not this time

I saw the light in your window tonight
I saw two shadows holding each other tight
I know the truth when I look in your eyes
I saw the light in your window tonight

Why, baby, why
Should I listen to ya
Cry, baby, cry
Now I'm walking out the door

They say that love is blind
Well, baby, not this time

I know the truth when I look in your eyes
I saw the light in your window tonight.

Que tu as choisi pour me remplacer?
En amour la loi, c'est comme à la guerre
Le plus fort des deux reste le dernier
Et notre amour si beau (amour si beau)
Finit pourtant si mal (pourtant si mal)
On le juge à huis clos (juge à huis clos)
Dans un tribunal (un tribunal)

Bravo tu as gagné (tu as gagné)
Et moi j'ai tout perdu (j'ai tout perdu)
On s'est tellement aimé (on s'est aimé)
On ne s'aime plus (ne s'aime plus)

Nous avons joué
Notre vie ensemble
Et puis un beau jour
La chance a tourné
On ne finira pas
La partie ensemble
Et chacun s'en va
Seul de son côté

Bravo tu as gagné
Bravo tu as gagné

Tu as gagné
J'ai tout perdu
On s'est aimé
On n'aime plus
Amour si bon
Pourtant si mal
Juge à huis clos.

Mean blues feel this is the end for me
Mean blues feel this is the end for me
Cruel world pullin’ me donw
Is making it hard tomorrow to see

Three days I haven’t heard my girl
I know something’ is wrong
Three days I haven’t heard my girl
I know something’ is wrong
She left me for another
There’s a hole now where my heart belongs

There’s no use for me searching
I have to let her go
There’s no use for me searching
I have to let her go
There’s nothing for her to come back to
Mean blues got me sinking too low

Drowned my sorrows with a boittle
I’m gonna lose my mind
Drowned my sorrows with a boittle
I’m gonna lose my mind
Think and drink, drank the bottom of the East River
That’s where my heartache feels fine.

GIVE A LITTLE LOVE

THE JUDDS
SONGWRITER: PAUL KENNERLEY
COUNTRY: U. S. A.
ALBUM: HEARTLAND
LABEL: RCA NASHVILLE
GENRE: COUNTRY
YEAR: 1987

The Judds were an American country music duo composed of Naomi Judd and her daughter, Wynonna Judd. The duo signed to RCA Nashville in 1983 and released six studio albums between then and 1991. The Judds were one of the most successful acts in country music history, winning five Grammy Awards for Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal, and eight Country Music Association awards. They also had 25 singles on the country music charts between 1983 and 2000, of which 14 went to Nº 1. After eight successful years as a duet, the Judds ceased performing in 1991 after Naomi was diagnosed with Hepatitis C. Soon after, Wynonna embarked on a highly successful solo career. The two have occasionally reunited for special tours, the most recent of which was in 2017.
In 2021, The Judds were inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame
You can buy a diamond ring
And slip it on my hand
Put me on a big ol' plane
And fly me to a foreign land

Show me rows of fancy clothes
Saying, "Honey you can take your pick"
Well, that would be mighty kind
But it ain't gonna do the trick

Give a little love
A squeeze and a little kiss
Give a little hug,
Mmm, I want some more of this

Take a little time, yeah
Make a little fuss
That's what a woman wants
So give a little love

Get this, you can be some big hunk
Handsome, dark and tall
Talk to me in foreign tongues
Or with a southern drawl

Or be a man from old Siam
Wear a pointed hat
I don't care how you look
'Cause that ain't where it's at

So give a little love
A squeeze and a little kiss
Give a little hug
Mmm, I want some more of this

Take a little time, yeah
Make a little fuss
That's what a woman wants
So give a little love

Well, there are men who'll turn your head
And knock you off of your feet
Sweet talk and big blue eyes
Make a poor heart skip a beat

Drive you wild with a smile
And then they'll treat you cruel
Well, I ain't gonna fall for that
'Cause Mama didn't raise no fool

So give a little love
A squeeze and a little kiss
Give a little hug
Mmm, I want some more of this

Take a little time, yeah
Make a little fuss
That's what a woman wants
So give a little love

Give a little love, give a little love
Give a little love, give a little love
Give a little love, give a little love
Give a little love, give a little love

Give a little love, give a little love
Give a little love, give a little love.
