No me llames
No me busques
No me escribas

Hoy que ya no estás
Pude descrifrar
Tú eras la mentira
Yo era tu verdad
Me arriesgué a buscar
Me dolió encontrar
Que todas las fichas
Te sabías jugar

Que tristeza aceptar
Que te entregue sin pensar
Mis días, mi cuerpo y mis manías
Y me duele enfrentar
Que pensaran los demás
La herida
Que muestro cada día

No me llames
No me busques
No me escribas
No quiero entregarme
A tus besos
Los encantos
Tus caricias
No quiero entregarme no

Voy a eliminar
Rastro, química
Razones que visitan
Haciéndome dudar

Que tristeza aceptar
Que te entregue sin pensar
Mis días, mi cuerpo y mis manías
Y me duele enfrentar
Que pensaran los demás
La herida
Que muestro cada día

No me llames (no me llames)
No me busques (no me busques)
No me escribas
No quiero entregarme
A tus besos (tus besos)
Los encantos (los encantos)
Tus caricias
No quiero entregarme no

A tu dolor tu malicia (no)
Esa mirada ficticia (no)
A la pasión y guarida y tu calor

No me llames (no me llames)
No me busques (no me busques)
No me escribas
No quiero entregarme no

No quiero mirarte
Me temo encontrarte
No puedo ocultártelo
Sabes descifrarme
Barreras cruzarte
Seduces, pierdo el valor (no)

No me llames (no me llames)
No me busques (no me busques)
No me escribas
No quiero entregarme
A tus besos (tus besos)
Los encantos (los encantos)
Tus caricias
No quiero entregarme no

A tu dolor tu malicia (no)
Esa mirada ficticia (no)
A la pasión y guarida y tu calor (no)

No me llames
No me busques (no me busques)
No me escribas
No quiero entregarme no.

SONGWRITERS: DAVID JOHN MATTEWS & GLENN BALLARD
COUNTRY: U. S. A.
ALBUM: EVERYDAY
LABEL: RCA VICTOR
GENRE: ALTERNATIVE ROCK
YEAR: 2001

Dave Matthews Band(also known by the initialism DMB) is an American rock band, formed in Charlottesville, Virginia, in 1991. The band's founding members were singer-songwriter and guitarist Dave Matthews, bassist Stefan Lessard, drummer and backing vocalist Carter Beauford, violinist and backing vocalist Boyd Tinsley, and saxophonist LeRoi Moore. As of 2020, Matthews, Lessard, and Beauford are the only remaining founding members still performing with the band.
Dave Matthews Band's 1994 major label debut album, Under the Table and Dreaming, brought the band worldwide fame and was eventually certified six times platinum. As of 2018, the band had sold more than 25million concert tickets and a combined total of 38million CDs and DVDs. Their 2018 album, Come Tomorrow, debuted at Nº 1 on the Billboard 200, making DMB the first band to have seven consecutive studio albums debut at the peak. The band won the 1996 Grammy Award for Best Rock Vocal Performance by a Duo or Group for "So Much to Say".
A jam band, Dave Matthews Band is renowned for its live shows. The band is known for playing songs differently each performance; this practice has become a staple of their live shows since the early 1990s.
"The Space Between" is a song written by the Dave Matthews Band. It was released on their 2001 album, Everyday. It was the album's first hit single and the band's first top 40 hit, with its peak at number 22 in the United States – several of their previous singles had been ineligible to chart on the Billboard Hot 100 due to a chart quirk. It is also featured on the Dave Matthews Band compilation álbum The Best of What's Around Vol. 1. It was played for the first time in 1.446 days at LeRoi Moore’s final concert, on June 28, 2008 and has been played live 115 times.
You cannot quit me so quickly
There's no hope in you for me
No corner you could squeeze me
But I got all the time for you love

The space between
The tears we cry
Is the laughter that keeps us coming back for more
The space between our wicked lies
Is where we hope to keep safe from the pain

But will I hold you again?
These fickle fuddled words confuse me
Like will it rain today?
We waste the hours with talking, talking
These twisted games we're playing

We're strange allies
With warring hearts
What a wild eyed beast you be

The space between our wicked lies
Is where we hope to keep safe from the pain

But will I hold you again?
Will I hold

Look at us spinning out in the madness of a roller coaster
You know you went off like the devil in the church
In the middle of a crowded room
All we can do my love
Is hope we don't take this ship down

The space between
Where you smile and hide
Is where you'll find me if I get to go

The space between
The bullets in our fire fight
Is where I'll be hiding waiting for you
The rain that falls
Splashed in your heart
Ran like sadness down the window into your room

The space between our wicked lies is
Where we hope to keep safe from pain

Take my hand
'Cause we're walking out of here
Right out of here
Love is all we need, dear

The space between
What's wrong and right
Is where you'll find me hiding
Waiting for you

The space between
In your heart and mine
Is the space we'll fill with time.

Christmas night
Another fight
Tears we cried a flood
Got all kinds of poison in
Of poison in my blood

I took my feet to Oxford street
Trying to right a wrong
"Just walk away" those windows say
But I can't believe she's gone

When you're still waiting for the snow to fall
Doesn't really feel like Christmas at all

Up above candles on air flicker
Oh, they flicker, and they flow
And I'm up here holding onto
All those chandeliers of hope
And like some drunken Elvis singing
I go singing out of tune
Singing how I always loved you, darling
And I always will

Oh, when you're still waiting for the snow to fall
It doesn't really feel like Christmas at all
Still waiting for the snow to fall
It doesn't really feel like Christmas at all

Those Christmas lights
Light up the street
Down where the sea and city meet
May all your troubles soon be gone
Oh, Christmas lights keep shining on

Those Christmas lights
Light up the street
Maybe they'll bring her back to me
And then all my troubles will be gone
Oh, Christmas lights keep shining on

Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh

Oh, Christmas lights
Light up the street
Light up the fireworks in me
May all your troubles soon be gone
Those Christmas lights keep shining on.

I guess now it's time
For me to give up
I feel it's time
Got a picture of you beside me
Got your lipstick mark
Still on your coffee cup
Got a fist of pure emotion
Got a head of shattered dreams
Gotta leave it,
Gotta leave it
All behind now
Whatever I said,
Whatever I did I didn't mean it
I just want you back for good
Whenever I'm wrong
Just tell me the song and I'll sing it
You'll be right and understood
I want you back for good

Unaware but underlined
I figured out this story
It wasn't good
But in the corner of my mind
I celebrated glory
But that was not to be
In the twist of separation
You excelled at being free
Can't you find
A little room inside for me

Whatever I said,
Whatever I did I didn't mean it
I just want you back for good
Whenever I'm wrong
Just tell me the song and I'll sing it
You'll be right and understood
I want you back for good

And we'll be together,
This time is forever
We'll be fighting
And forever we will be
So complete in our love
We will never be uncovered again

Whatever I said,
Whatever I did I didn't mean it
I just want you back for good
Whenever I'm wrong
Just tell me the song and I'll sing it
You'll be right and understood
I want you back for good

I guess that now it's time
That you came back for good.
