Hold heart, don't be too loud
For me keep your calm
Yes...he walks out on you
No tears, don't you come out?
If you blind me now, I am defeated

No lamps, don't make a sound
Don't let him here
The brick in your voice
Hand let go off him
With these and grace and let him
Blade under your name

Oh Lord take off that crowd
Your my king no more
With that person less heart

Hold heart, don't be too loud
For me keep your calm
Yes...he walks out on you
No tears, don't you come out?
If you blind me now
I am defeated.

La-la, la-la, la
Yeah, it's been a long night and the mirror's tellin' me to go home (home)
But it's been a long time since I felt this good on my own
Uh, lotta years went by with my hands tied up in your ropes
Forever and ever, no more

The midnight sky is the road I'm takin'
Head high up in the clouds
Oh

I was born to run, I don't belong to anyone, oh no
I don't need to be loved by you (by you)
Fire in my lungs, can't bite the devil on my tongue, oh no
I don't need to be loved by you
See my lips on her mouth, everybody's talking now, baby
Ooh, you know it's true, yeah
That I was born to run, I don't belong to anyone, oh no
I don't need to be loved by you (loved by you)
La-la, la-la, la

She got her hair pulled back 'cause the sweat's drippin' off of her face (her face)
Said it ain't so bad if I wanna make a couple mistakes
You should know right now that I never stay put in one place
Forever and ever, no more (no more)

The midnight sky is the road I'm takin'
Head high up in the clouds
Oh

I was born to run, I don't belong to anyone, oh no
I don't need to be loved by you (by you)
Fire in my lungs, can't bite the devil on my tongue, oh no
I don't need to be loved by you
See my lips on her mouth, everybody's talking now, baby
Ooh, you know it's true, yeah
That I was born to run, I don't belong to anyone, oh no
I don't need to be loved by you (by you)

Oh
I don't hide blurry eyes like you
Like you.

I was born to run, I don't belong to anyone, oh no
I don't need to be loved by you (by you)
Fire in my lungs, can't bite the devil on my tongue, you know
I don't need to be loved by you
See his hands on my waist, thought you'd never be replaced, baby
Ooh, you know it's true, yeah
That I was born to run, I don't belong to anyone, oh no
I don't need to be loved by you, yeah

La-la, la-la, la
La-la
You know it's true
You know it's true
(Loved by you).

Hang on, just hang on for a minute
I've got something to say
I'm not asking you to move on or forget it
But these are better days
To be wrong all along and admit is not amazing grace
But to be loved like a song you remember
Even when you've changed

Tell me did I go on a tangent?
Did I lie through my teeth?
Did I cause you to stumble on your feet?
Did I bring shame on my family?
Did it show when I was weak?
Whatever you see, that wasn't me
That wasn't me, that wasn't me

When you're lost you will toss every lucky coin you'll ever trust
And you'll hide from your god like he never turns his back on us
And you'll fall all the way to the bottom and land on your own knife
And you'll learn who you are even if it doesn't take your life

Tell me did I go on a tangent?
Did I lie through my teeth?
Did I cause you to stumble on your feet?
Did I bring shame on my family?
Did it show when I was weak?
Whatever you see, that wasn't me
That wasn't me, that wasn't me

But I want you to know that you'll never be alone
I wanna believe do I make myself a blessing to everyone I meet
When you fall I will get you on your feet
Do I spend time with my family?
Did it show when I was weak?
When that's what you see, that will be me
That will be me, that will be me
That will be me.

Virando dias e noites
Rodando de bar em bar
Perdido no labirinto
Podia ser o destino ou não
Tinha que arriscar, eu sei

Virando a vida ao avesso
Tentando me encontrar
Quebrava meus próprios sonhos
Queria o meu destino na mão
Queria demais, talvez

A gente vive pra mudar
Quando quer
É só a vida dizer sim

Perdido em plena floresta
Morrendo de sede no mar
Mensagem numa garrafa
Talvez alcance a praia ou não
Talvez nunca mais, talvez

Ninguém prevê o futuro
Nem sabe se vai encontrar
Talvez uma luz no escuro
Talvez o escuro e nada mais
Ninguém saberá, eu sei

A gente vive pra mudar
Quando quer
É só a vida dizer sim

A gente vive pra mudar
Quando quer
É só a vida dizer sim

A gente vive pra mudar
É só a vida.
