Carrie Marie Underwood(born March 10, 1983) is an American country singer. She rose to prominence after winning the fourth season of American Idol in 2005. Her single "Inside Your Heaven" made her the only country artist to debut atop the Billboard Hot 100 chart and the only solo country artist in the 2000s to have a number-one song on the Hot 100. Her debut album, Some Hearts(2005), was bolstered by the successful crossover singles "Jesus, Take the Wheel" and "Before He Cheats", becoming the best-selling solo female debut album in country music history. She won three Grammy Awards for the album, including Best New Artist. The next studio album, Carnival Ride(2007), had one of the biggest opening weeks of all time by a female artist and won two Grammy Awards. Her third studio album, Play On(2009), was preceded by the single "Cowboy Casanova", which had one of the biggest single-week upward movements on the Hot 100.
She achieved the second best-selling release by a woman in 2012 and won a Grammy Award with her fourth album, Blown Away(2012). Her compilation Greatest Hits: Decade #1(2014) spawned the crossover single "Something in the Water". Her fifth studio album, Storyteller(2015), made her the only country artist to have all studio albums reach either numbers one or two on the Billboard 200 chart. With her sixth album, Cry Pretty(2018), she became the only woman to top the Billboard 200 with four country albums and had the biggest week for any album by a woman in 2018. She released her first Christmas project, My Gift, in 2020, and first gospel collection, My Savior, in 2021, to critical acclaim.
Blown Away is the fourth studio album by American singer and songwriter Carrie Underwood. It was released in the United States and Canada on May 1, 2012, by Arista Nashville. After finishing her successful Play On Tour in December 2010 to promote her third studio album Play On, Underwood started working on the album, but took her time, as she "wanted to change things up", and needed to step away from the "celebrity bubble" to "have real things to write about and to sing about". It took her over one year to finish the album, which, according to Underwood, ended up having a "darker storyline" than her previous efforts.
Met with mostly positive reviews from music critics, the album became a commercial success. It debuted at number one on Billboard 200, with first-week sales of 267,000 copies, achieving the third-largest opening of 2012. With Blown Away reaching number one, Underwood became the third female to chart at number one on the Billboard 200 with three country albums, tying her with Linda Ronstadt and Faith Hill. Like her three previous albums, Blown Away debuted at the top of the Top Country Albums chart. The album remained at number one for a second week on the Billboard 200, becoming her first album to spend more than one week at the top of that chart. It topped the "Top Country Albums" chart for seven weeks.
Blown Away was the seventh best selling album overall and second best-selling country album of 2012 in the US. It finished 2012 with over 1.4 million copies sold worldwide, according to the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry. Blown Away has since sold around 1.8 million copies in the US and over two million copies worldwide. In January 2020, the album was certified 3x-Platinum by the RIAA.
It spawned the Billboard Hot 100 Top 20 and Country Airplay number-one singles "Good Girl" and "Blown Away", along with the Country Airplay top-two hits "Two Black Cadillacs" and "See You Again". All singles received multi-Platinum or Platinum certifications.
Two black Cadillacs driving in a slow parade
Headlights shining bright in the middle of the day
One is for his wife
The other for the woman who loved him at night
Two black Cadillacs meeting for the first time

And the preacher said he was a good man
And his brother said he was a good friend
But the women in the two black veils didn't bother to cry
(Bye bye, bye bye)

Yeah, they took turns laying a rose down
Threw a handful of dirt into the deep ground
He's not the only one who had a secret to hide
Bye bye, bye bye, bye bye

Two black Cadillacs
Two black Cadillacs

Two months ago, his wife called the number on his phone
Turns out he'd been lying to both of them for oh so long
They decided then, he'd never get away with doing this to them
Two black Cadillacs waiting for the right time, right time

And the preacher said he was a good man
And his brother said he was a good friend
But the women in the two black veils didn't bother to cry
(Bye bye, bye bye)

Yeah, they took turns laying a rose down
Threw a handful of dirt into the deep ground
He's not the only one who had a secret to hide
Bye bye, bye bye, bye bye
Yeah, yeah
(Two black Cadillacs)

It was the first and the last time they saw each other face to face
They shared a crimson smile and just walked away
And left the secret at the grave

And the preacher said he was a good man
And his brother said he was a good friend
But the women in the two black veils didn't bother to cry
(Bye bye, bye bye)

Yeah, they took turns laying a rose down
Threw a handful of dirt into the deep ground
He's not the only one who had a secret to hide
Bye bye, bye bye, bye bye
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

SONGWRITER: YUSUF ISLAM
HOW: LIVE
COUNTRY: U. K.
ALBUM: MONA BONE JAKON
LABEL: ISLAND RECORDS
GENRE: POP DEUX
YEAR: 1970

Yusuf Islam(born Steven Demetre Georgiou; 21 July 1948), commonly known by his stage names Cat Stevens, Yusuf, and Yusuf/Cat Stevens, is a British singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. His musical style consists of folk, pop, rock, and, later in his career, Islamic music. He returned to making secular music in 2006. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2014.
His 1967 debut album and its title song "Matthew and Son" both reached top ten in the UK charts. Stevens' albums Tea for the Tillerman(1970) and Teaser and the Firecat(1971) were certified triple platinum in the US. His 1972 album Catch Bull at Four went to N°1 on Billboard Pop Albums and spent weeks at the top of several major charts. He earned ASCAP songwriting awards in 2005 and 2006 for "The First Cut Is the Deepest", which has been a hit for four artists. His other hit songs include "Father and Son", "Wild World", "Moonshadow", "Peace Train", and "Morning Has Broken".
In December 1977, Stevens converted to Islam and adopted the name Yusuf Islam the following year. In 1979, he auctioned all of his guitars for charity, and left his musical career to devote himself to educational and philanthropic causes in the Muslim community. He has since bought back at least one of these guitars as a result of the efforts of his son Yoriyos. He was embroiled in a long-running controversy regarding comments he made in 1989 about the death fatwa on author Salman Rushdie. His current stance is that he never supported the fatwa: "I was cleverly framed by certain questions. I never supported the fatwa." He has received two honorary doctorates and awards for promoting peace as well as other humanitarian awards.
Mona Bone Jakon is the third studio album by singer-songwriter Cat Stevens, released in April 1970 on the Island Records label in the United Kingdom and on A&M in the United States and Canada.
I sit beside the dark
Beneath the mire
Cold gray dusty day
The mornin' lake
Drinks up the sky
Katmandu, I'll soon be seein' you
And your strange bewilderin' time
Will hold me down

Chop me some broken wood
We'll start a fire
White warm light the dawn
And help me see
Old Satan's tree
Katmandu, I'll soon be touchin' you
And your strange bewilderin' time
Will hold me down

Pass me my hat and coat
Lock up the cabin
Slow night treat me right
Until I go
Be nice to know
Katmandu, I'll soon be seein' you
And your strange bewilderin' time
Will keep me home.

YEAR: 1968

Sir Cliff Richard(born Harry Rodger Webb; 14 October 1940) is an English singer who holds both British and Barbadian citizenship. He has sold more than 250 million records worldwide, making him one of the best-selling music artists of all time. He has total sales of over 21.5 million singles in the United Kingdom and is the third-top-selling artist in UK Singles Chart history, behind the Beatles and Elvis Presley.
Richard was originally marketed as a rebellious rock and roll singer in the style of Presley and Little Richard. With his backing group, the Shadows, he dominated the British popular music scene in the pre-Beatles period of the late 1950s to early 1960s. His 1958 hit single "Move It" is often described as Britain's first authentic rock and roll song. In the early 1960s, he had a prosperous film career with films including The Young Ones and Summer Holiday. Increased focus on his Christian faith and subsequent softening of his music led to a more middle-of-the-road image, and he sometimes ventured into contemporary Christian music.
Over a career spanning 60 years, Richard has amassed several gold and platinum discs and awards, including two Ivor Novello Awards and three Brit Awards. More than 130 of his singles, albums, and EPs have reached the UK Top 20, more than any other artist. Richard has had 67 UK top ten singles, the second highest total for an artist (behind Presley). He holds the record, with Presley, as the only act to make the UK singles charts in all of its first six decades (1950s–2000s). He has achieved 14 UK Nº 1 singles, and is the only singer to have had a Nº 1 single in the UK in each of five consecutive decades. He also had four UK Christmas Nº 1 singles, two of which were as a solo artist; "Mistletoe and Wine" and "Saviour's Day".
Richard has never achieved the same popularity in the United States despite eight US Top 40 singles, including the million-selling "Devil Woman" and "We Don't Talk Anymore". In Canada, he had a successful period in the early 1960s, the late 1970s and early 1980s, with some releases certified gold and platinum. He has remained a popular music, film, and television personality at home in the UK as well as Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Northern Europe and Asia, and retains a following in other countries. When not touring, he divides his time between Barbados and Portugal. In 2019, he relocated to New York.
 Congratulations
And celebrations
When I tell everyone that you're in love with me
Congratulations
And jubilations
I want the world to know I'm happy as can be

Who would believe that I could be happy and contented?
I used to think that happiness hadn't been invented
But that was in the bad old days before I met you
When I let you walk into my heart

Congratulations
And celebrations
When I tell everyone that you're in love with me
Congratulations
And jubilations
I want the world to know I'm happy as can be

I was afraid that maybe you thought you were above me
That I was only fooling myself to think you'd love me
But then tonight you said you couldn't live without me
That round about me you wanted to stay

Congratulations
And celebrations
When I tell everyone that you're in love with me
Congratulations
And jubilations
I want the world to know I'm happy as can be

Congratulations
And jubilations
I want the world to know I'm happy as can be
I want the world to know I'm happy as can be.

Cada aeroporto
É um nome num papel
Um novo rosto
Atrás do mesmo véu

Alguém me espera
E adivinha no céu
Que meu novo nome é
Um estranho que me quer

E eu quero tudo
No próximo hotel

Por mar, por terra
Ou via Embratel
Ela é um satélite

E só quer me amar
Mas não há promessas, não
É só um novo lugar

Viver é bom
Nas curvas da estrada
Solidão, que nada
Viver é bom
Partida e chegada
Solidão, que nada
Solidão, que nada
Alguém me espera
E adivinha no céu
Que meu novo nome é
Um estranho que me quer
E eu quero tudo
No próximo hotel
Por mar, por terra
Ou via Embratel
Ela é um satélite
E só quer me amar
Mas não há promessas, não
É só um novo lugar
Viver é bom
Nas curvas da estrada
Solidão, que nada
Viver é bom
Partida e chegada
Solidão, que nada
Solidão, que nada
Viver é bom
Nas curvas da estrada
Solidão, que nada
Viver é bom
Partida e chegada
Solidão, que nada.
