FEELING GOOD
MICHAEL BUBLÉ
SONGWRITERS: Anthony Newley & Leslie Bricusse
COUNTRY: CANADA
ALBUM: IT’S TIME
LABEL: REPRISE RECORDS
GENRE: JAZZ
YEAR: 2005

It's Time is the fourth studio album, and second major label studio album, released by Canadian singer Michael Bublé. The album was released by 143 Records and Reprise Records on February 8, 2005.
Similar to Buble’s previous albums, this album features his covers of well-known songs from varying decades. Unlike the previous albums, this one was the first to feature a song penned in part by the jazz performer himself called “Home.” After its release, It's Time received mixed to positive reviews from contemporary music critics. While many commended the use of Bublé's vocals, the album faced criticism regarding Bublé's extensive use of jazz and pop covers that appeared throughout the majority of the album.
Despite some unfavorable reviews, the album became a commercial success, topping the charts in Canada, Italy, and Spain, while also peaking in the top ten in eleven other countries. The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) certified it three-times platinum, for shipments of three million copies across the United States. In Australia, the album was certified 5× Platinum by the ARIA for sales of 350,000 copies sold, and in Canada it was certified 6× Platinum by the CRIA for sales of 600,000 copies, the album has sold 6 million units worldwide.

Birds flying high you know how I feel
Sun in the sky you know how I feel
breze driftin' on by you know how I feel

(refrain)
It's a new dawn
It's a new day
It's a new life
For me
And I'm feeling good

Fish in the sea you know how I feel
River running free you know how I feel
Blossom on the tree you know how I feel

(refrain)
It's a new dawn
It's a new day
It's a new life
For me
And I'm feeling good

Dragonfly out in the sun you know what I mean, don't you know
Butterflies all havin' fun you know what I mean
Sleep in peace when day is done
That's what I mean

And this old world is a new world
And a bold world
For me

Stars when you shine you know how I feel
Scent of the pine you know how I feel
Oh freedom is mine

And I know how I feel
THE OTHER SIDE OF SUMMER

The sun struggles up another beautiful day
And I felt glad in my own suspicious way
Despite the contradiction and confusion
Felt tragic without reason
There's malice and there's magic in every season

Chorus:
From the foaming breakers of the poisonous surf
The other side of Summer
To the burning forests in the hills of Astroturf
The other side of Summer

The automatic gates close up between the shanties and the palace
The blowtorch amusements, the voodoo chalice
The pale pathetic promises that everybody swallows
A teenage girl is crying 'cos she don't look like a million dollars
So help her if you can
'Cos she don't seem to have the attention span

Chorus

Was it a millionaire who said "imagine no possessions"?
A poor little schoolboy who said "we don't need no lessons"?
The rabid rebel dogs ransack the shampoo shop
The pop princess is downtown shooting up
And if that goddess if fit for burning
The sun will struggle up the world will still keep turning

Madman standing by the side of the road saying
"Look at my eyes, look at my eyes, look at my eyes, look at my eyes"
Now you can't afford to fake all the drugs your parents used to take
Because of their mistakes you'd better be wide awake

Chorus

The mightiest rose
The absence of perfume
The casual killers
The military curfew
The cardboard city
An unwanted birthday
The other side of summer

The dancing was desperate, the music was worse
They bury your dreams and dig up the worthless
Goodnight
God bless
And kiss "goodbye" to the earth

The other side of summer

Tenho um amor puro e verdadeiro,
É playboy é bom companheiro,
Brotinho enxuto um amor
Mas não me liga que horror

Um sapatinho eu vou
Um laço cor de rosa enfeitar
E perto dele eu vou
Andar devagarinho e o broto conquistar

Ele usa lambreta e é tão veloz
Se passa na corrida eu perco a voz
E fico desejando, Oh! meu Deus!
Que ele caia bem nos braços meus

Um sapatinho eu vou
Um laço cor de rosa enfeitar
E perto dele eu vou
Andar devagarinho e o broto conquistar

Quando ele dança rock é uma sensacão
Faz rápido dançar o meu coração
Seu beijo deve ter a delícia do amor
E ele não me beija que horror

Um sapatinho eu vou
Um laço cor de rosa enfeitar
E perto dele eu vou
Andar devagarinho e o broto conquistar

Um dia resolvi,e ao broto fui falar
O que ele me disse deu vontade de chorar:
"Lacinhos cor de rosa ficam bem só na cabeça
Se quiser me conquistar você cresça e apareça"

Um sapatinho eu vou
Um laço cor de rosa enfeitar
E perto dele eu vou

Andar devagarinho e o broto conquistar

Yo vendo unos ojos negros
Quien me los quiere comprar
Los vendo por traicioneros,

Porque me han pagado mal.

Yo vendo unos ojos negros
Quien me los quiere comprar
Los vendo por traicioneros,

Porque me han pagado mal.

Más te quisiera,
Más te amo yo
Y todas las noches las paso
suspirando por tu amor

Más te quisiera,
Más te amo yo
Y todas las noches las paso
suspirando por tu amor

(No piense que por no verte
mi amor se ha desvanecido
yo soy chilena constante
y cuando quiero no olvido mi alma)

Ojos negros, traicioneros,
Porque me miráis así
Tan alegres para otros
Y tan tristes para mí.

Ojos negros, traicioneros,
Porque me miráis así
Tan alegres para otros
Y tan tristes para mí.

Más te quisiera,
Más te amo yo
Y todas las noches las paso
suspirando por tu amor.

Más te quisiera,
Más te amo yo
Y todas las noches las paso
suspirando por tu amor.
