Aiaiá, kiriê
Kiriê, Iaiá

A refavela
Revela aquela
Que desce o morro e vem transar
O ambiente
Efervescente
De uma cidade a cintilar

A refavela
Revela o salto
Que o preto pobre tenta dar
Quando se arranca
Do seu barraco
Prum bloco do BNH

A refavela, a refavela, ó
Como é tão bela, como é tão bela, ó

A refavela
Revela a escola
De samba paradoxal
Brasileirinho
Pelo sotaque
Mas de língua internacional

A refavela
Revela o passo
Com que caminha a geração
Do black jovem
Do black-Rio
Da nova dança no salão

Iaiá, kiriê
Kiriê, Iaiá

A refavela
Revela o choque
Entre a favela-inferno e o céu
Baby-blue-rock
Sobre a cabeça
De um povo-chocolate-e-mel

A refavela
Revela o sonho
De minha alma, meu coração
De minha gente
Minha semente
Preta Maria, Zé, João

A refavela, a refavela, ó
Como é tão bela, como é tão bela, ó

A refavela
Alegoria
Elegia, alegria e dor
Rico brinquedo
De samba-enredo
Sobre medo, segredo e amor

A refavela
Batuque puro
De samba duro de marfim
Marfim da costa
De uma Nigéria
Miséria, roupa de cetim

Iaiá, kiriê

Kiriê, iáiá.

Siempre igual,
aquí no pasa, nada siempre igual,
los días se repiten, siempre igual,
como gotas de agua, siempre igual.
Siempre igual
las mismas situaciones, siempre igual
tu fiel amor dormido, siempre igual
ni una palabra menos, ni una mas.

Siempre igual,
Siempre igual,
te dejo ahí dormida, siempre igual
y luego por la noche al regresar
apenas diez palabras, siempre igual.
Siempre igual
los lunes algún cine o a cenar,
si algo nos provoca pues quizás
tengamos que cumplir una vez mas.

Siempre igual,

COUNTRY: CANADA
ALBUM: CHUCK
LABEL: ISLAND RECORDS
GENRE: ALTERNATIVE ROCK
YEAR: 2004

Chuck is the third studio album by Canadian rock band Sum 41. The album was released on October 12, 2004. It is the band's last album to feature lead guitarist Dave Baksh until his return in 2015. Chuck peaked at No. 2 on the Canadian Albums Chart and No. 10 on the US Billboard 200, making it the band's highest-charting album until it would be surpassed by Underclass Hero in 2007.
The album's lyrical content has been described as darker and more mature than the band's previous work, with subjects on politics being driven by the band's experience in the Congo while shooting a documentary film.
The album had a slightly different sound from the band's previous work, mixing in their punk rock influence with heavy metal and adult alternative. The album proved to be a success, receiving acclaim from both critics and fans, as well as selling over 5 million copies. Singles such as "We're All To Blame" and "Pieces" gained success on the Canadian and American charts, and the album won a Juno Award for "Rock Album of the Year" in 2005.
I need this to get me through
Can't resist and don't want to
Believe it I know it's true
I can't beat and don't want to try

Perfect hell

It's more to me than you ever will know
Down here where the rest of us fell
Waste away with nothing left to show
While I'm in this perfect hell

Obsession has begun
Possessed by destruction
How did I get so low
Believe me no one knows
Sometimes I can't hold on
And no one can help me

Now it's got a hold of me
I don't think I can make it through this
Now it's got a hold of me
The less I do the more it makes no sense

I'm walking pollution who's drained by delusions
On the verge of destruction I cave in to abduction
Thin blood I'm bleeding my pulse won't stop racing
Just as my heart explodes

No chance that I could win
Too hard to not give in
I just don't feel the same
Cause I'm the one to blame
Sometimes I can't hold on
And no one can help me

Now it's got a hold of me
I don't think I can make it through this
Now it's got a hold of me
The less I do the more it makes no sense

I need this to be myself
It feels like I need some help
It's too late to save myself
Or it's just in my head

Now it's got a hold of me
I don't think I can make it through this
Now it's got a hold of me
The less I do the more it makes no sense

Now it's got a hold of me
I don't think I can make it through this
Now it's got a hold of me

The less I do the more it makes no sense.

I can't take it
I'm so lonely
Gee I need you so

I can't take it
Oh I wonder
Why you had to go

But Baby, Every night I wake up crying
Tears on my pillow
An pain in my heart
You on my mind

I remember all the good times
That we had before
Oh I remember and now my heart
My very soul cries out for more

But baby, all your love for me is dying
Tears on my pillow
Pain in my heart
You on my mind

(spoken)
I'll always remember that day
You promised to love me
You said you'd love me to the very end
And I'll never forget
I'll never forget when you walked away from me
You walked out of my life to my very best friend
Ooooohhhhhh

Oh baby, every night I wake up crying
Tears on my pillow
Pain in my heart
You on my mind

Yeah
Tears on my pillow
Pain in my heart
You on my mind

I got tears on my pillow
Pain in my heart
You on my mind

(fade)
I got tears on my pillow
Pain in my heart

An you on my mind.
