Leonardo Torres Álvarez (Camagüey, el 24 de noviembre de 1977). Vocalista, compositor y productor, catalogado como una de las figuras más importantes de la música cubana.
Comenzó su carrera artística desde muy joven. Fue evaluado como cantante en el año 1998 en su ciudad natal. Tras un paso fugaz por el grupo Costa Sur, de Camagüey, y una incursión en el humorismo, en 1999 entró en la orquesta Maravillas de Florida y grabó el CD Vieja, pero se mantiene. Su trabajo en esta orquesta —la segunda vigente más antigua de Cuba— llamó la atención de David Calzado, quien le propuso incorporarse como cantante a su famosa agrupación.
En el año 2001 se unió a la Charanga Habanera. Durante los ocho años en los que formó parte de ella realizó dúos y proyectos con importantes figuras de la música cubana. Alcanzó grandes éxitos con hits como “Tiene de Cuba, tiene mela'o” y “Gozando y a lo cubano”. Recorrió el mundo con los charangueros de David Calzado y grabó varios discos.
Leoni decidió dar paso a un proyecto propio, en solitario. Su imagen sobria, pero a la vez muy eficiente en la escena, su excelente dominio de la melodía y una sencillez para nada aparente fueron las credenciales que rápidamente lo situaron en lugares cimeros del gusto popular.
En el año 2008 salió al mercado su primer álbum en solitario titulado Bajo la Piel, con el cual resultó el cantante revelación del año en Cuba. El disco incluye 13 temas de pop con fuerte presencia de ritmos cubanos y caribeños, además de la sonoridad del jazz. El sencillo "¿A dónde vas?" se convirtió en un suceso musical en Cuba y parte de Latinoamérica, además de la aceptación alcanzada por la pieza "No pierdas tiempo", que en Cuba ha acompañado la campaña para prevenir el VIH.
Con su proyecto ha realizado multitudinarios conciertos en toda la isla y se ha presentado en otros países, entre ellos México y Canadá.
Ha colocado temas en las listas de éxitos de la radio nacional. Algunas de sus canciones están incluidas en el documental Popular, de la realizadora norteamericana Jennifer Paz; en el filme cubano- italiano Un loco soñador, dirigido por el italiano Ángelo Rizo; y en la película cubano-española Círculos viciosos, del director Antonio Hens.
Su primer CD Bajo la piel fue nominado a los premios Cubadisco, en la categoría Pop. El tema “No pierdas tiempo” fue el elegido para la campaña de la lucha contra el VIH del año 2009. Ha ganado en tres ocasiones el premio a la popularidad convocado por el programa de televisión “Entre tú y yo”. Desde el 2007 hasta la fecha le ha puesto voz a temas de telenovelas y series de aventuras como: Los tres Villalobos, Añorado encuentro y Aquí estamos. En el año 2009 realiza su primer DVD como productor.
En el 2011 produce su segundo disco llamado Latiendo a partir del cual Leoni Torres afianzó su carrera en solitario y se convirtió en una de las figuras más reconocidas de la música cubana contemporánea.
A partir de 2014 el artista se desarrolló no solo como intérprete sino también como compositor y ejemplo de ello son las canciones: “Traidora”, tema de su autoría defendido por Marc Anthony y Gente de Zona con gran éxito internacional y “Para que un día vuelvas” obra que comparte a dúo con Pablo Milanés. Además de estos temas Leoni ubicó en la preferencia popular otros como: “Soledad” y “Me equivoqué”, este último interpretado junto al joven cantante Divan Sotelo.
El año 2016 fue decisivo para Leoni Torres sobre todo en favor de su reconocimiento internacional, y en ello contribuyó en gran medida el contrato firmado con la compañía Magnus Media, productora del cantante Marc Anthony.
Entre los proyectos presentados por Leoni este mismo año se encuentra el DVD “Desde mí” integrado por atractivas versiones de temas preferidos por el cantante como: “Deja que te falte”, de Raúl Paz, “Enséñame”, popularizado en Cuba por Emmanuel, “Caballo viejo”, de Simón Díaz; y “Acerca el oído”, un bolero de la inspiración de Arsenio Rodríguez.
Luego del estreno de este material que dirigió Yeandro Tamayo, salió a la luz el videoclip de la canción “Soledad”, actual éxito musical de Leoni Torres. El clip en cuestión es uno de los más nominados a los Premios Lucas 2016 pues compite en cuatro categorías: Mejor Producción, Mejor video de música popular bailable, Mejor dirección de arte y Video más popular del año
El destacado compositor e intérprete cubano se enfoca actualmente en completar su próximo disco que estará integrado fundamentalmente por dúos con destacadas figuras como Pablo Milanés, Descemer Bueno y Kelvis Ochoa, entre otros. En medio de ello, promueve su más reciente obra titulada “Toda una vida”.

All Things in Time is an album by American R&B singer Lou Rawls, released in June 1976 on the Philadelphia International Records label. Coming after a career lull in the years immediately preceding, All Things in Time was Rawls' first album for PIR; at the time he was the first artist to sign with PIR after having already enjoyed a substantial recording career and chart success with other record labels. The album includes Rawls' most famous hit song "You'll Never Find Another Love Like Mine".
Louis Allen Rawls (December 1, 1933 – January 6, 2006) was an American singer, songwriter, actor, voice actor, and record producer. Rawls released more than 60 albums, sold more than 40 million records, and had numerous charting singles, most notably his song "You'll Never Find Another Love like Mine". He worked as a film, television, and voice actor. He was also a three-time Grammy-winner, all for Best Male R&B Vocal Performance.
On the night of September 29, 1977, Rawls performed the national anthem of the United States before the Earnie Shavers-Muhammad Ali title fight at Madison Square Garden. He was invited to sing the anthem many times over the next 28 years. His final performance was in his hometown of Chicago when he was asked to sing the national anthem before the second game of the 2005 World Series between the Chicago White Sox and Houston Astros at U.S. Cellular Field.
In 1982, Rawls received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. On January 19, 1985, he sang "Wind Beneath My Wings" at the nationally televised 50th Presidential Inaugural Gala the day before the second inauguration of Ronald Reagan.

Frankie Laine(born Francesco Paolo LoVecchio; March 30, 1913 – February 6, 2007) was an American singer, songwriter, and actor whose career spanned nearly 75 years, from his first concerts in 1930 with a marathon dance company to his final performance of "That's My Desire" in 2005. Often billed as "America's Number One Song Stylist", his other nicknames include "Mr. Rhythm", "Old Leather Lungs", and "Mr. Steel Tonsils". His hits included "That's My Desire", "That Lucky Old Sun", "Mule Train", "Jezebel", "High Noon", "Save Your Sorrow", "I Believe", "Hey Joe!", "The Kid's Last Fight", "Cool Water", "Rawhide", and "Lord, You Gave Me a Mountain".
He sang well-known theme songs for many movie Western soundtracks, including 3:10 To Yuma, Gunfight at the O.K. Corral, and Blazing Saddles, although his recordings were not charted as a country & western. Laine sang an eclectic variety of song styles and genres, stretching from big band crooning to pop, western-themed songs, gospel, rock, folk, jazz, and blues. He did not sing the soundtrack song for High Noon, which was sung by Tex Ritter, but his own version (with somewhat altered lyrics, omitting the name of the antagonist, Frank Miller) was the one that became a bigger hit, nor did he sing the theme to another show he is commonly associated with—Champion the Wonder Horse(sung by Mike Stewart)—but released his own, subsequently more popular, version.
Laine's enduring popularity was illustrated in June 2011, when a TV-advertised compilation called Hits reached No. 16 on the British chart. The accomplishment was achieved nearly 60 years after his debut on the UK chart, 64 years after his first major U.S. hit and four years after his death.
While Laine's influence on popular music, rock and roll and soul is rarely acknowledged by rock historians, his early crossover success as a singer of "race music" not only helped pave the way for other white artists who sang in the black style, like Kay Starr, Johnnie Ray and Elvis Presley, but also helped to increase public acceptance for African-American artists as well. Artists inspired and/or influenced by Laine include Ray Charles, Bobby Darin, Lou Rawls, The Kalin Twins, The Beatles, Tom Jones, James Brown, Billy Fury, and many others.
He was inducted into the Hit Parade Hall of Fame 2008.
In 2010, a Golden Palm Star on the Palm Springs, California, Walk of Stars was dedicated to him.
For his contributions to the music and television industry, Frankie Laine has two stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The music star is at the north side of the 1600 block on Hollywood Boulevard, the television star is at the west side of the 1600 block on Vine Street.
On June 25, 2019, The New York Times Magazine listed Frankie Laine among hundreds of artists whose material was reportedly destroyed in the 2008 Universal fire.

Richard Clayderman, nom de scène de Philippe Robert Louis Pagès, (Paris, 28 décembre 1953) est un pianiste français.
Le pianiste possède un cartel de 65 millions de disques vendus, exécutant entre 150 et 200 concerts par an, jouant du piano dans toutes les régions de la planète, y compris Le Brésil. Il a même joué au Kremlin , à Moscou, au milieu de la guerre froide. Em 1987, lors d'un concert au Waldorf Astoria à New York, la première dame américaine Nancy Reagan l'a alors annoncé comme "Le Prince de la Romance".
"Je suis heureux d'avoir un public et de pouvoir faire des concerts partout dans le monde, c'est ce qui compte vraiment pour moi." dit Clayderman.
Fan de la fusion de Pat Metheny, Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea, père du sportif Peter, 27 ans, et de la chanteuse Maude, 17 ans.
Fils d'un professeur de piano, Clayderman a commencé très tôt dans les arts du piano, et à l'âge de six ans, il pouvait lire les chansons très facilement et avec précision. À l'âge de douze ans, il rejoint un conservatoire de musique et à seize ans il remporte son premier prix.Après avoir quitté le conservatoire, il forme un groupe de rock avec des amis, mais sa vie change radicalement en 1976, lorsque le producteur français Olivier Toussaint compose une ballade en hommage à sa fille nouveau-née, Adeline, puis il a engagé Richard pour effectuer son travail et l'enregistrer sur LP.
Richard s'est produit au Brésil em 1999, en 2008 et en 2016. Ses concerts incluent des chansons comme "For Love", "Letter to my Mother", "Dolannes Melody", "Ballade pour Adeline" et "Murmuries".
