de mí. El título del octavo álbum de Rosario no es gratuito, para él seleccionó
11 canciones, más sentidas que pensadas, que hacen parte de esos temas
cantados por otros que se quedan grabados en el alma. Ahí están Te quiero, te
quiero, uno de los primeros éxitos de Nino Bravo, y Nada de nada de Cecilia.
De
Joan Manuel Serrat ha cantado Lucía, pero esta vez entona Palabras de amor, y
también incluyó el boleto Algo contigo. Y como es un álbum que hace parte de
ella no se podían quedar por fuera temas interpretados por su madre Lola
Flores, como Cómo me la maravillaría yo, y su hermano Antonio con No dudaría.
Con estas canciones, Rosario montó un concierto que la tiene de gira por
Latinoamérica y que fue motivo de un DVD en su presentación en el Gran Teatre
del Liceu de Barcelona. Allí invitó al escenario a cantantes como Coti, con
quien interpretó La distancia; a Lolita y cantaron juntas Esta tarde vi llover,
y a Antonio Carmona para hacer el dúo de El sitio de mi recreo. También
estuvieron Paulina Rubio, Diego el Cigala y La Mari. CD y DVD están juntos en

Juan Luis Guerra Seijas (Santo Domingo, República
Dominicana; 7 de juniode 1957), más
conocido como Juan Luis Guerra, es un cantante, compositor, arreglista, músico, productory empresariodominicanoquien ha vendido más de 70 millones de discos, que ha ganado numerosos
premios, incluidos 21 Grammy
Latinos, dos Grammyestadounidenses y tres Premios Latin Billboard.
En 2007 fue el máximo galardonado con 6 Grammy Latinos. Ganó 3 Grammy Latinos en 2010, incluido 'A son de Guerra'
como álbum del año. En el 2012, ganó un Grammy Latinocomo Productor del Año.
También fue el máximo galardonado en los Grammy Latinos en 2015, con tres gramófonos. Su
carrera comercial comenzó con los álbumes Mudanza y
acarreoy Mientras más lo pienso... tú. Él y su
banda fueron nominados para asistir al Festival
OTI de la Cancióny representar a la República
Dominicana.
Su siguiente álbum, Ojalá
que llueva café(1989), le trajo el
reconocimiento internacional. En este álbum mezcla el merenguecon melodías suaves y pistas de fondo súperrápidas, convirtiéndose
inmediatamente en éxito en muchos países de América Latina,
con la canción del mismo nombre como primer sencillo. Posteriormente, se filmó el vídeo
de la canción, y Juan Luis Guerra y su banda 4.40 comenzaron a viajar. La
canción se revivió en 1996 y en el 2008 con las versiones de la banda mexicana Café Tacubay la cantante española Rosario
Flores.
El 11 de diciembre de 1990, lanzó al mercado su
siguiente álbum, Bachata rosa,
que se convirtió en un gran éxito y le otorgó a Guerra su primer Grammy. El álbum, que había vendido más
de cinco millones de copias en ese momento, permitió que Guerra se mantuviera
firme en su gira por América Latina, Estados Unidos y Europa. Este álbum
contiene canciones de amor memorables como «Burbujas de amor», «Bachata rosa»,
«Rosalía», «Como abeja al panal», «A pedir su mano», «Carta de amor», y
«Estrellitas y duendes».
En 1992, lanzó su álbum más comprometido
socialmente, Areíto(que es una
palabra taína), y su
primer éxito, «El costo de la vida» (número uno en el Hot Latin Tracks, donde
Guerra fue el primer artista de música tropical que logró esta hazaña), cuyo
video tiene un claro mensaje anticapitalista.
Otras canciones incluidas en este álbum protestan contra las malas condiciones
en muchos países de América Latina, hablan de la celebración del «descubrimiento»
de América y de la doble moralde los países del Primer Mundo.
En el álbum Fogaraté(1994), Guerra se desligó de las canciones de protesta. Este álbum está
centrado especialmente en los géneros musicales más rurales y menos conocidos
dentro de la música dominicana, como por ejemplo el perico ripiao.
Su disco Ni
es lo mismo ni es igual(1998) cosechó gran
éxito de crítica, ganando tres premios Grammy
Latinosen el año 2000 a la mejor interpretación
de merengue, mejor canción tropical y mejor arreglo. Sus éxitos incluyen «Mi PC»,
«Palomita blanca» y «El Niágara en bicicleta».
Juan
Luis Guerra es uno de los artistas latinos más reconocidos internacionalmente
en las últimas décadas. Su estilo de mesclar merenguey bolero, y la
fusión de afro-pop/jazz le ha ganado un considerable éxito en toda
América Latina. Guerra generalmente es asociado con la música popular
dominicana llamada bachata, y aunque
esta asociación es en parte cierta, Guerra realmente utiliza los conceptos básicos
del ritmo bachata pero con un toque de bolero más melódico. No se limita a sí
mismo a un estilo de música, sino que incorpora diversos ritmos musicales que
incluyen merengue, bolero, bachata, balada, salsa, rock and roll e incluso
gospel. La canción
«Ojalá que llueva café» es una de sus piezas más aclamadas. Guerra
también realizó un remix de la canción «La llave de mi corazón» com Taboode los Black Eyed Peas,
como claro ejemplo de su fusión de géneros musicales.

Sir Cliff Richard OBE(born Harry
Rodger Webb; 14 October 1940) is an English singer, musician, actor, and
philanthropist who holds both Britishand Barbadian
citizenship. He has sold more than 250
million records worldwide, making him one of the best-selling music artists of all time.
He has total sales of over 21.5 million singles in the United Kingdom and is
the third-top-selling artist in UK
Singles Charthistory, behind the Beatlesand Elvis Presley.
Richard was originally marketed as a
rebellious rock and rollsinger in the style of Presley and Little Richard.
With his backing group, the Shadows,
he dominated the British popular music scene in the pre-Beatles period of the
late 1950s to early 1960s. His 1958 hit single "Move It" is
often described as Britain's first authentic rock and rollsong; John Lennononce said that "before Cliff and the Shadows, there had been
nothing worth listening to in British music". In the early 1960s, he had a
prosperous film career with films including The Young Onesand Summer Holiday. Increased focus on his
Christianity and subsequent softening of his music led to a more middle-of-the-roadimage, and he

Music... The Air That I Breathe is the
45th studio album by British pop singer Cliff
Richard, released on 30 October 2020. The album
entered the UK Albums Chartat number 3, which has seen Richard become the first artist to make
the top five of the albums chart for eight consecutive decades.
On radio, the album was BBC Radio 2's 'Album
of the week' in its first week of release, with the lead single "Falling
for You" in rotation(and having been so for several weeks). The latest single "PS
Please", featuring Mark
Knopfleron lead guitar, has been added to
the BBC Radio 2 new music playlist.
In other media, the album has been part of
the conversation when Richard was interviewed on Piers Morgan's Life Stories(ITV,
UK) on 25 October 2020, The One

"Before They Make Me Run" is a song
by the English rockband The
Rolling Stones, featured on their 1978 album Some Girls.
Written by guitaristKeith Richards,
the song is a response to his arrest for heroinpossession in Torontoin February 1977. The criminal charges and prospect of a prison
sentence loomed over the Some Girls recording sessions and endangered
the future of the Rolling Stones.
In
the lyrics, Richards reflects unapologetically on his lifestyle up to that
point. The line "it's another goodbye to another good
friend" in the first verse can be interpreted as referring to Gram Parsons,
Richards's close friend who died in 1973 from a drug overdose, and/or to heroin
itself: Richards had sought medical treatment for heroin addiction following
his arrest in Toronto, and his resolution to overcome his addiction would be a
significant factor in his upcoming trial.
Richards recorded the song in five days
without sleeping. Originally entitled "Rotten Roll", the song was
recorded in a Parisstudio
in March 1978 during one of Mick
Jagger's absences from the Some Girls sessions.
The completed track - "a high-energy rock & roller"- features
Richards on lead vocals, acoustic and electric guitars and bass; Ronnie Woodon pedal
steel guitar, slide guitarand backing vocals, Charlie
Wattson drums, and Jagger on backing
vocals.
Richards first performed the song in concert
on the New Barbarians' tour of North America in 1979;
it was not until the Steel Wheels Tourin 1989 that it
entered the Rolling Stones' concert repertoire. Like "Happy", the song has become one
of Richards' "signature tunes", performed on most Rolling Stones
tours since 1989; he also played it on the X-Pensive Winos' 1992-93 tours
promoting his album Main Offender.
Live performances of the song are included in
the Stones' 2003 Four FlicksDVD collection and as bonus tracks in their 2013 and 2016 DVD &
Blu-ray sets Sweet
Summer Sun: Hyde Park Liveand Havana Moon.
Steve Earlehas also performed the song in concert and has recorded it as part
of a split single with the Supersuckers.
