Nanna Øland Fabricius (born 2 May 1985), better known by her stage name Oh Land, is a Danish musician, singer, songwriter, dancer and recording artist.
"Wolf & I" is a song recorded by Danish recording artist Oh Land, taken from her self-titled second studio album Oh Land (2011). It was released as the album's second single on 13 March 2011 by RCA Records, with the recording being issued as a CD single, featuring two other singles from the eponymous album. The song is a trip hop Mand R&B composition that serves as an "introductory single" for her career. The track was written by Nanna Øland Fabricius and Owen Beverly, with Dan Carey solely producing it.
The single received generally favourable reviews from music critics, who called it one of the highlights on the parent album. Other critics found it to be "dreamy" and "sweet". Commercially, "Wolf & I" did not peak on any record chart. A music video was not filmed for the single, but a live video of Oh Land performing the song was released onto her oficial YouTube account on 20 October 2010 in support of her album. Another rendition of the single was sung live at Heaven in London, and received positive feedback from reviewers.

Before the world you know was like it is
I held the love at once and I was his
And we walked along the river in the sun
But he's a lonely man so this was done

The only place we had to meet is night
While the sun he sleeps in shadows we can hide
On the mountain side we spend our time together
But it is gone when morning comes

And you are the one
And I am the moon, moon
And in the endless sky we are the one,
We are alive
In my dreams wolf and I

How many days and nights will come and go?
While the only light you see is from my glow?
There will never be a dawn that breaks the spell surrounding us
Till the earth dies with the sun

And you are the one
And I am the moon, moon
And in the endless sky we are the one,
We are alive
In my dreams wolf and I
You are the one
And I am the moon, moon
And in the endless sky we are the one,
We are alive
In my dreams wolf and I

And in the endless sky
We are the one,
We are alive in my dreams wolf and I.

I feel the sunlight on my head
The scent of summer in my bed
When we were footprints in the sand
Stealing liquor, making plans

I can see your face from miles and miles away
But heaven knows it's gonna fade, heaven knows it's gonna fade
I'm not done searching for answers, anyway
But through your hands you make me tremble, make me crash
Forget my name

And just ride that wave until we higher than life
With the Sun in our eyes, should just ride on a cloud
Until we fall from the sky
No more tears for the night, for the ni-i-i-i-i-ight
For the ni-i-i-i-i-ight
Yeah, just ride that wave until we higher than life
With the Sun in our eyes

They said to watch out for your kind
Always dirtying up my mind
They say that romance makes you blind
Well, I'll be blinded for a lifetime

I can see your face from miles and miles away
And I remember every kiss, all the games you had me play
I'm not done searching for answers, anyway
But through your hands you make me tremble, make me crash
Forget my name

And just ride that wave until we higher than life
With the Sun in our eyes, should just ride on a cloud
Until we fall from the sky
No more tears for the night, for the ni-i-i-i-i-ight
For the ni-i-i-i-i-ight
Yeah, just ride that wave until we higher than life
With the Sun in our eyes

La la la la la la la la la
La la la la la la la la la
With the Sun in your eyes (la la la la la la la la la)
La la la la la la la la la
Ey

I can see your face from miles and miles away
But heaven knows it's gonna fade, heaven knows it's gonna fade
I'm not done searching for reasons, anyway
But through your hands you make me tremble, make me crash
Forget my name

And just ride that wave until we higher than life
With the Sun in our eyes, should just ride on a cloud
Until we fall from the sky
No more tears for the night, for the ni-i-i-i-i-ight
For the ni-i-i-i-i-ight
Yeah, just ride that wave until we higher than life
With the Sun in our eyes.

Listen up, listen up!
Hey, hey!

He wanna take me to the aftershow party
But he can't get no admission
And nobody seem to know him at all so I say
Are you really a musician?

I can see you got a heart of gold
But you ain't got no rhythm in your bones
I ain't got no defense,
Look you're the sweetest liar I know, I know
But you ain't never played the bass
You ain't never played the bass

Still the music don't feel like it did when I felt it with you
But you ain't never played the bass
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no
No, no, no, no, no, no

He takes my hand and leads me to the bar buying drinks
While he's counting on his loose change
He's tripping honest without knowing that I already
Slipped my number in his wallet

I can see you got a heart of gold
Pretty sure the best is yet to know
And I ain't got no defense,
Look you're the sweetest liar I know, I know,
But you ain't never played the bass
You ain't never played the bass

Still the music don't feel like it did when I felt it with you
But you ain't never played the bass
(No, no, no)
You ain't never played the bass
(No, no, no)
Still the music don't feel like it did when I felt it with you

Somebody call a doctor
Call him up quick
Been gettin' to my heart
Then you know me lovesick

But you ain't never played the bass
You ain't never played the bass

Still the music don't feel like it did when I felt it with you
But you ain't never played the bass
You ain't never played the bass

Still the music don't feel like it did when I felt it with you
Somebody call a doctor
Call him up quick
Been gettin' to my heart
Then you know me lovesick.

Nothing left for me to say
There's no more wicked games to play
It's time for me to walk away
I am alright

I feel like I'm on a high
A new beginning that is my life
I'm turning to the rhythm of the night
I am alright

The music is making me grow and
The only thing that keeps me awake is me knowing
There's no one here to break me or bring me down
And no one here to hurt me or fool around

I have no more time for you to hurt my feelings
Done enough to prove I'm all that I believe in
We are at the end, no more stupid lies
I'm better off without you here by my side

So now there is no longer you and I, you and I
You and I, you and I
You and I, you and I
You and I

There is no longer you and I, you and I
You and I, you and I
You and I, you and I
You and I

Don't care what other people say
I know you fool around all day
Now it doesn't hurt me anyway
I am alright

The music is making me grow and
The only thing that keeps me awake is me knowing
There's no one here to break me or bring me down
And no one here to hurt me or fool around

I have no more time for you to hurt my feelings
Done enough to prove I'm all that I believe in
We are at the end, no more stupid lies
I'm better off without you here by my side

So now there is no longer you and I, you and I
You and I, you and I-I-I
You and I, you and I
You and I

There is no longer you and I, you and I (you and I)
You and I, you and I-I-I (I said, you and I, oh)
You and I, you and I
You and I (you and I)

There is no longer you and I, you and I (I said, you and I)
You and I, you and I (oh, yeah, yeah)
You and I, you and I
You and I (you and I).
