Kansas is an American rock band that became popular in the 1970s initially on album-oriented rock charts and later with hit singles such as "Carry On Wayward Son" and "Dust in the Wind". The band has produced nine gold albums, three multi-platinum albums (Leftoverture 4×, Point of Know Return 4×, and The Best of Kansas 4×), one other platinum studio album (Monolith), one platinum live double album (Two for the Show), and a million-selling single, "Dust in the Wind". Kansas appeared on the Billboard charts for over 200 weeks throughout the 1970s and 1980s and played to sold-out arenas and stadiums throughout North America, Europe and Japan. "Carry On Wayward Son" was the second-most-played track on US classic rock radio in 1995 and No. 1 in 1997.
Monolith is the sixth studio album by American progressive rock band Kansas, released in 1979 (see 1979 in music). The album was remastered and reissued in 2011, as a Japanese import vinyl-replica Blu-spec CD (Epic EICP 20078) including the rarity live version of "On the Other Side" previously available only on the 1994 Legacy-issued Box Set. A domestic version of the remaster was released in standard CD format in the US as part of Legacy Recordings' Classic Album Collection series which included all of their Kirshner/CBS studio releases. A Dutch-issued "Music on CD" series released the album on CD in 2016. It was last of the albums with the original lineup to be re-released on vinyl. Three different colored vinyl versions appeared in 2018 and 2019.
There are some who can still remembre
All the things that we used to do
But the days of our youth were numbered
And the ones who survive it are few
Oh, I can still see the smiling faces
When the times were so good
All in the old familiar places
I'd go back if I could (to the)

People of the south wind, people of the southern wind
It's the people of the wind, I got to be there again

Well, it's a hard thing to face the music:
But it's something everybody has got to do
So I hope that I can always remember
All the crazy times we had to go through
Now it's a dream that is slowly fading
And I don't want it to go
All of the memories are evading
And I want you to know (it's the)

People of the south wind, people of the southern wind
It's the people of the wind, I got to be there again

Now we've traveled all across the oceans
And we've seen what there is to see
But I guess it's not the proper solution
Cause it's all about the same to me
Now I look back and it makes me wonder
Why we just couldn't see
All of the battles we fought and won there
And I wish that I could be with the

People of the wind
I want to see 'em again
It's where we used to be free
And that's the place for me
It's just a state of my mind
A thing that's so hard to find.

O quadro, o giz
A curiosidade do aprendiz
Diante de você

Dois olhos negros
Dois olhos negros

O ocultismo, o vampirismo
O voodoo
O ritual, a dança da chuva
A ponta do alfinete, o corpo nú
Os vários olhos da Medusa

É como se estivéssemos ali
Durante os séculos fazendo amor
É como se a vida terminasse ali
No fim do corredor

O ocultismo, o vampirismo
O voodoo
O ritual, a dança da chuva
A ponta do alfinete, o corpo nú
Os vários olhos da Medusa

É como se estivéssemos ali
Durante os séculos fazendo amor
É como se a vida terminasse ali
No fim do corredor

Dois olhos negros
Dois olhos negros
Dois olhos negros
Dois olhos negros
Dois olhos negros.

I LOVE EVERY LITTLE THING ABOUT YOU

SYREETA WRIGHT
Songwriter: STEVE WONDER
Country: U. S. A.
Album: SYREETA
Label: MOTOWN RECORDS
Genre: PROGRESSIVE SOUL
Year: 1972

Syreeta is the debut studio album by American R&B and soul singer and songwriter Syreeta Wright, released on June 20, 1972, on MoWest, a subsidiary of Motown Records.
The self-titled debut album was produced by Wright's ex-husband, frequent collaborator and musician Stevie Wonder; it was released following the former couple's separation and subsequent divorce. The album featured compositions by both Wonder and Wright, and also featured Wright's takes on other artists' songs. This included a Wonder-produced, funk-oriented version of his earlier recording, "I Love Every Little Thing About You", which was initially recorded by Wonder for his Music of My Mind project, released earlier that year.
Wonder and Wright used the talk box prominently on Wright's cover of the Beatles' "She's Leaving Home" while Wright provided a smoother vocal take of Smokey Robinson's "What Love Has Joined Together." Wright wrote the ballad "Happiness" and she and Stevie co-wrote "Baby Don't You Let Me Lose This," and their featured duet "To Know You Is to Love You" together. The album failed to generate success, though Wright would go on to a productive solo career throughout the 1970s and 1980s. Wright and Wonder continued working together for several decades.
Verse 1}
Oh, they say you're not my friend
You've been through thick and thin
And for that, little boy, I love you
And all I want to do is talk about you
I'm here to say I love you more each day
And I just want to tell the world that I love you so, sugar

{Verse 2}
Though they put me down because
I love you as much as I do
But they don't know what you've done for me
You made such a happy girl out of me
I'm here to say I love you more each day, yeah
I just want to tell the world that I love you so

{Chorus}
Well I love, I love, I love, I love
I love every little thing about you baby
I love, I love, I love, I love
I love every little thing about you baby
What you gonna do about that, brother?
Nothing

{Verse 3}
Oh, they say that I am wrong
'Cause my love is strong
There's only one that l place above you
I forever place God above anyone and even you
I'm here to say I love you more every day, yeah
I just want to tell the world that I love you so, baby

{Bridge}
Some might say it's strange (well, well, well) but my whole life you've changed
You saved all the pain the world's put on me
And all I want to do is talk about how happy I am
I'm here to say I love you more every day
I just want to tell the world that I love you so yeah

{Outro}
I love, I love, I love, I love
I love every little thing about you baby
Well I love, I love, I love, I love
I love every little thing about you baby
Thank God for your lovin'
I love, I love, I love, I love
I love every little thing about you baby
Thank God for your kissin'
I love, I love, I love, I love
I love every little thing about you baby
Thank God for your lovin'
I love, I love, I love, I love
I love every little thing about you baby
I love, I love, I love, I love
I love every littte thing about you baby
Didn't know what I was missin'
I love, I love, I love, I love
I love every little thing about you baby
Thank God for your lovin'
I love, I love, I love, I love
I love every little thing about you baby
You're the one I love, everything about your love
Everything about your love I love
You're the one I love.

ALBUM: DIRTY ROTTEN FILTHY STINKING RICH
LABEL: COLUMBIA RECORDS
GENRE: GLAM METAL
YEAR: 1989

Warrant is an American glam metal band formed in 1984 in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California, that experienced success from 1988 to 1996 with five albums reaching international sales of over 10 million. The band first came into the national spotlight with their double platinum debut álbum Dirty Rotten Filthy Stinking Rich and one of its singles, "Heaven", which reached Nº 1 in Rolling Stone and Nº 2 on the Billboard Hot 100. The band's success continued in the early 1990s with the double platinum album Cherry Pie, which provided the hit song of the same name.
Following the critically acclaimed gold álbum Dog Eat Dog the band started to experience frequent changes to the line-up and despite the drop in popularity with the arrival of grunge, they released Ultraphobic in 1995 and a successful greatest hits album in 1996. The band also changed their musical direction with the release of the grunge-influenced Belly to Belly in 1996, but returned to their roots very quickly by the end of the decade. The band experienced highs and lows in the 2000s with successful tours, a new covers álbum Under the Influence, lead singer Jani Lane leaving, a new album called Born Again with Black 'n Blue singer Jaime St. James and a brief reunion of the original line up. Into the new decade, Jani Lane died of alcohol poisoning. After over 30 years, the band is still recording music and performing, now with ex-Lynch Mob lead vocalist Robert Mason.
Dirty Rotten Filthy Stinking Rich is the debut studio album by American glam metal band Warrant, released in 1989.
The album was highly successful, spawning the hit singles "Heaven" (Nº 2, 1989), "Down Boys" (Nº 27, 1989) and "Sometimes She Cries" (Nº 20, 1990). The album peaked at number 10 on the Billboard 200.
The unique cover art features "Fugazi", known as "Cashly Guido Bucksley" in the "Big Talk" music video, an overpaid, amoral infrastructure manager and archetypal business psychopath.
The first four words of the album's title ("Dirty Rotten Filthy Stinkin'...!") were mentioned in the intro to the title track of their 1990 follow-up album Cherry Pie.
I've got a picture of your house
And you're standing by the door.
It's black and white and faded,
And it's looking pretty worn.
See the factory that I worked
Silhouetted in the back.
The memories are gray but man they're really coming back.

I don't need to be the king of the world
As long as i'm the hero of this little girl

Heaven isn't too far away
Closer to it everyday
No matter what your friends might say

How I love the way you move
And the sparkle in your eyes
There's a color deep inside them
Like blue suburban skys
When i come home late at night
And you're in bed asleep
I wrap my arms around you
So I can feel you breathe

I dont need to be a superman
As long as you will always be my biggest fan

Heaven isn't too far away
Closer to it everyday (Ah, ah)
No matter what your friends might say
We'll find our way, yeah

Now the lights are going out,
Along the boulevard
Memories come rushing back and makes it pretty hard
I've got nowhere left to go
And no one really cares
I don't know what to do
But I'm never giving up on you.

Heaven isn't too far away
Closer to it every day
Ohhhh ohhh
No matter what your friends say
I know we're gonna find a way
Heaven

Whoah, oohh, ohhh
Whoah, oohh, ohhh
Heaven

It's not too far away
It's not too far away
It's not too far away
It's not too far away
It's not too far away.
