ALBUM: NOW I’M ALL YOURS
LABEL: EPIDEMIC SONG
GENRE: ROCK

Spring were an English progressive rock band from Leicester.
They released only one album in their career, a self-titled LP in 1971. Spring's music is notable for the use of the mellotron with three of its five members credited with playing that instrument on the album. Songs for a second album were recorded but not released at the time. They were later released on CD together with some demos as Untitled 2, as a bonus CD on the Esoteric CD release of 2015, and as a bootleg vinyl album Spring 2(with Roger Dean cover). Three of the tracks were used as bonus on the single CD edition of the first album.
Spring originally consisted of Pat Moran (vocals), Ray Martinez (guitars), Kips Brown (keyboards), Pick Withers(drums) and Adrian Maloney(bass), all of whom had previously played in various local Leicester bands.
A turning point in Spring's fortunes happened after a gig in Cardiff, when the band's van broke down somewhere in the Welsh countryside, coincidentally very near where producer/engineer Kingsley Ward had recently set up Rockfield Studios. Ward would later marvel at the "coincidence of meeting a group with a broken down truck in your own home town when you have previously spent months traipsing around the country in search of talent". He was particularly intrigued by the fact that they owned a mellotron, and "invited them down the following week for an audition with my brother Charles and myself", the outcome of which was "good enough for us to want to be involved with them". Several demo sessions followed. The band were rehearsing at Rockfield when producer Gus Dudgeon (of David Bowie and Elton John fame) dropped by to check the studio out, heard them play and expressed interest in producing them. A few months later, sessions took place at both Rockfield and London's Trident Studios, and the resulting album was released on the RCA/Neon label in 1971.
There's a sparkle in your eyes
I feel the warmth of your skin
Just the touch of your hand
Makes me tremble within
Love the smell of your hair
Lying here in our bed, oh
Never gonna be alone
'Cause with you I'm finally coming home

I want to be with you always
'Cause that is what my heart says, (that's what my heart says)
I want to be with you always
You are my world in every place
It's the things that you do
And it's the smile on your face
And as time goes by (I know)
I know I'm in a better place
I'm in a better place

Without your love I am out of place
And without you I am just a trace
I love you with all of my heart
Together forever, never to part

I want to be with you always
'Cause that is what my heart says, (that's what my heart says)
I want to be with you always (always yeah)
You are my world in every place, oh woah
It's the things that you do, (it's the things you do baby)
And it's the smile on your face (smile on your face)
And as time goes by (I know)
I know I'm in a better place
I'm in a better place

It's the things that you do (the things that you can oh)
And it's the smile on your face (the smile on your face)
And as time goes by, (I know)
I know I'm in a better place
I'm in a better place.

STEVE PERRY
SONGWRITERS: Craig Krampf; Bill Cuomo; Randy Goodrum & Stephen Ray Perry
COUNTRY: U. S. A.
ALBUM: STREET TALK
LABEL: COLUMBIA RECORDS
GENRE: ROCK
YEAR: 1984

Stephen Ray Perry(born January 22, 1949) is an American singer and songwriter. He is known for being the lead singer of the rock band Journey during their most commercially successful periods from 1977 to 1987, and again from 1995 to 1998. Perry also had a successful solo career between the mid-1980s and mid-1990s, made sporadic appearances in the 2000s, and returned to music full-time in 2018.
Perry's singing voice has garnered acclaim from prominent musical peers and publications; he has been dubbed "The Voice", a moniker originally coined by Jon Bon Jovi. Ranked Nº 76 on Rolling Stone's "100 Greatest Singers of All Time", Perry was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Journey on April 7, 2017.
Street Talk is Steve Perry's first solo studio album, released in April 1984.
Street Talk contains Perry's biggest hit as a solo artist, "Oh Sherrie", written for his then-girlfriend Sherrie Swafford. The song hit #3 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #1 on Billboard's Rock chart, and the accompanying music video (also featuring Swafford) was a hit on MTV. Other singles included "Foolish Heart" (peaked at #18), "She's Mine" (peaked at #21), and "Strung Out" (peaked at #40).
There were a number of nods to Perry's pre-Journey band Alien Project on this album—in fact, that band was originally going to be called Street Talk. In the liner notes, Perry dedicates the album to Richard Michaels (the bassist for Alien Project). Also, drummer Craig Krampf was a member of Alien Project later in the 1970s.
In addition to launching Perry's solo career, the cover photo for Street Talk served as a career launchpad for music photographer John Scarpati, who met Perry during the album's recording sessions at a studio in Sherman Oaks.
Street Talk is certified as 2× Platinum (2,000,000) in sales by the RIAA
You should've been gone
Knowing how I made you feel
And I should've been gone
After all your words of steel
Oh, I must've been a dreamer
And I must've been someone else
And we should've been over

Oh, Sherrie, our love
Holds on, holds on
Oh, Sherrie, our love
Holds on, holds on

Oh, I want to let go
You'll go on hurtin' me
You'd be better off alone
If I'm not who you thought I'd be

But you know that there's a fever
Oh, that you'll never find nowhere else
Can't you feel it burnin'
On-and-on

Oh, Sherrie, our love
Holds on, holds on
Oh, Sherrie, our love
Holds on, holds on

Oh, Sherrie
Oh, Sherrie

But I should've been gone
Long ago, far away
And you should've been gone
Now I know you'd lie
You'll stay

Oh, Sherrie, our love
Holds on, holds on
Oh, Sherrie, our love
Holds on, holds on

Oh, Sherrie, our love
Holds on, holds on

Hold on
Oh, Sherrie.

MANDOLIN MOON

SISTER HAZEL
SONGWRITER: DAVID COLEMAN & DUANE JARVIS
COUNTRY: u. s. a.
ALBUM: ABSOLUTELY
LABEL: ADRENALINE MUSIC
GENRE: SOUTHERN ROCK
YEAR: 2006

Sister Hazel is an American alternative rock band from Gainesville, Florida, whose style blends elements of jangle pop, folk rock, classic rock, and southern rock.
Sister Hazel formed in Gainesville, Florida, in 1993 and was named for Sister Hazel Williams, a local missionary who ran a homeless shelter. The group released its self-titled debut album in 1994, through its independent record label Croakin' Poets. Shortly after its release, singer/guitarist Ryan Newell and drummer Mark Trojanowski joined the band. Newell played on the album before officially joining the group.
The band's second album, ...Somewhere More Familiar was released in 1997 and sold approximately 30,000 copies through its initial pressing, prompting Universal Records to sign the band. Universal re-released ...Somewhere More Familiar in late 1997. A single from the album, "All For You" hit Nº 11 on the Billboard Hot 100 and remains the band's most successful single.
The band's third album Fortress was released in 2000 by Universal. The band worked with producers Mike Clink(Guns N' Roses, Mötley Crüe, Heart), Richie Zito(Cheap Trick), and Paul Ebersold (3 Doors Down). The album featured minor pop hits "Champagne High" and "Change Your Mind." The album's title track was featured as the outro of Valparaiso University radio station WVUR's weekly Saturday night program during the 2000-01 academic year.
In 2003, after the band split from Universal, they released their fourth studio album, Chasing Daylight, on the Sixthman label and toured throughout the year to promote the album. The band's internet presence emerged during this time period, and hardcore fans dubbing themselves "Hazelnuts" studied setlists, shared bootleg concert recordings, and initiated a promotion scheme with the band through their official website. 2003 also saw the simultaneous release of Live*LIVE, a two-disc live album, and A Life in the Day, a live DVD.
Absolutely is Sister Hazel's sixth studio album. It was released on October 10, 2006 by Adrenaline/Wandering Hazel Records. It is Sister Hazel's first album since departing from their previous record label, Sixthman. "Mandolin Moon", was the first single. The album was leaked to torrent websites on August 10, 2006. The leaked version was an advance copy of the CD and featured a short spoken-word track in place of "Hello It's Me."
Everything changes in the face of the moon
Now times here, and you're in for bloom
When you woo me
My luna girl

My feet two feet from the ground
I'm tasting colors, and I'm seeing sounds
When you take me out of this world

Well I, I count my blessings
And hug my luck like an old brass penny
With two heads up
It's all right if you're late
I'd just hope that you find your way soon

Shine down, light it up, wash it over
Wait around for my mandolin moon
Come around till the sweet, sweet morning
Come along, I'll be waiting for you
Waiting for you

You pull the tides up around me
So much that it could drown me
And you surround me
My luna girl

Don't tell me, I don't wanna hear
Wake me up before you disappear
Won't you take me out of this world?

Well I, I count my blessings
And hug my luck like an old brass penny
With two heads up
It's all right if you're late
I'd just hope that you find your way soon

Shine down, light it up, wash it over
Wait around for my mandolin moon
Come around till the sweet, sweet morning
Come along, I'll be waiting for you
Waiting for you

I'm waiting
Still waiting
If only you could stay a while
I'm waiting
Still waiting
If only you could stay a while
I'm waiting
I'm waiting
If only you could stay a while

Shine down, light it up, wash it over
Wait around for my mandolin moon
Come along till the sweet, sweet morning
Come along, I'll be waiting for you

Shine down, light it up, wash it over
Wait around for my mandolin moon
Come around till the sweet, sweet morning
Come along, I'll be waiting for you
Waiting for you.

You said it's over now
It's just not right
You said there's a better place for you to be
It's not with me
Then you turned and walked away
I can't believe what I see
And I can't go to sleep at night when I think of how it used to be

She can't give you what I've got
And she can't stop your pain
And she can't love you the way I do
God I want you back again
Maybe she could try with money
Or she could buy you clothes
But baby when it's dark and you're home at night
Does she ever hold you close

She takes you out in style
She treats you right
She gives you all the things I never could, she's so good
But don't you think of me
Baby late at night
And I just can't take it boy, together we could be so right

She can't give you what I've got
And she can't stop your pain
And she can't love you the way I do
God I want you back again
Maybe she could try with money
Or she could buy you clothes
But baby when it's dark and you're home at night
Does she ever hold you close

Take me back
(Ooh you're gonna need me)
(Ooh you're gonna need me)
Take me back
(Ooh you're gonna need me)
All those things we did before
Whatever happened to them
And all those things I've been living for
Gotta start 'em all over again

You said it couldn't last
That we were meant to part
A guy like you and a girl like me didn't stand a chance - not from the
Start
But then you looked at me
I had to ask you why
As I see and try to find out why you left me for those hungry eyes

She can't give you what I've got
And she can't stop your pain
And she can't love you the way I do
God I want you back again
Maybe she could try with money
Or she could buy you clothes
But baby when it's dark and you're home at night
Does she ever hold you close

Take me back
(Ooh you're gonna take me)
Take me back
(Ooh you're gonna take me)
Take me back
(Ooh you're gonna take me)
Take me back.
