“So I know this isn't
originally Norah Jones, but hers is the only version I know and I recently
reaaally fell in love with her and her voice and had to cover this. I just wanted to let you all know
that these were really special videos to me, when I first started making music
and youtube videos I was so anxious to immediately get a band in and start
doing full band compositions. Having waited 4 years to get myself to the best
standard I could be before introducing these incredibly talented guys in it
feels amazing to finally get these in front of you. A massive
thanks to the gorgeous and wondrous Jack Hobbs for filming, recording and
editing this mini series, this being created is all down to him [go subscribe
to his channel to make him feel loved pls xx] Hope you guys like this and
please please let me know what you think, love Hope xx”.
Like a flower waiting to bloom
Like a lightbulb in a dark room
I'm just sitting here waiting for you
To come home and turn me on
Like the desert waiting for the rain
Like a school kid waiting for the spring
I'm just sitting here waiting for you
To come on home and turn me on
My poor heart, it's been so dark since you been gone
After all, you're the one who turns me off
You're the only one who can turn me back on
My hi-fi's waiting for a new tune
The glass is waiting for some fresh ice cubes
I'm just sitting here waiting for you
To come on home and turn me on
Turn me on.
