Elvis gravou a canção ainda em 1972, algumas semanas após Priscilla Presley, sua então esposa, pedir a separação. Cansada da infidelidade constante de Elvis, ela anunciou ao marido que estava deixando-o, Recentemente, no programa inglês "The Nations Favourite Elvis Songs", Priscilla declarou que Elvis dedicou a música a ela, logo após a separação, quando estavam na casa do pai de Elvis, Vernon Presley. "É uma canção muito pessoal pra mim, pois na verdade Elvis me deu a canção, na casa de seu pai. Eu nunca reparti isso com o público", declarou.
