"Sing, Sing, Sing" é uma canção de 1936 escrita por Louis
Prima que se tornou um dos hits da época das Big bands e
da Swing
Era. A música é comumente associada a Benny
Goodman, apesar de ser de Louis Prima.
Em 6 de Julho de 1937 "Sing,
Sing, Sing" foi gravada em Hollywood com
Benny Goodman no clarinete; Harry James, Ziggy Elman, e Chris
Griffin no trompete;
Red Ballard e Murray McEachern no trombone; Hymie Schertzer e George Koenig no sax alto; Art Rollini e Vido Musso no sax tenor; Jess Stacy no piano; Allan Reuss na guitarra; Harry Goodman no baixo; e Gene Krupa
na bateria. A música contou ainda com o arranjo de Jimmy Mundy. Diferentemente da
maioria dos arranjos das Big Bands da época, que eram limitados a 3 minutos de
música em média para que coubessem em um dos lados do disco padrão de
10-polegadas 78-rpm, a versão de 1937 da banda de Goodman para "Sing,
Sing, Sing" era maior, tinha 8 min 43 sec, e ocupava ambos os lados de um
disco de 12-polegadas 78-rpm.
Muitos aficcionados consideram a versão tocada por Benny
Goodman no famoso concerto do Carnegie
Hall em 1938 como sendo a performance definitiva de "Sing, Sing,
Sing".
Através das décadas "Sing, Sing, Sing"
transformou-se num dos mais visíveis símbolos da Swing Era, sendo ouvida desde
comerciais de televisão até bandas marciais.

Brenciu (born 27 August 1972 in Brașov)
is a Romanian singer, television host for the Romanian version of Dancing
with the Stars, successful entertainer, and
philanthropist. He studied at National College Andrei Şaguna from Braşov, then he continued to Şcoala
Populară

Braşov,
at piano and canto class, and in 1998 he finished The Theater Academy in Bucharest.
At 18 years old he started his musical career by singing
with the piano in his own band, "Apropo". In
1993, he entered into the world of television as the host for a popular show,
at that time called Robingo at TVR.
In the following years he was a prominent TV presenter, and he was the host of
some kids' shows. In 2002, he created one of the most important brands in Romania, HB
Media, and from 2004 to 2010, he was the planner of Stars on Mariott and
other popular shows for New Year's Eve.
From 2003, he made a stand by creating "Cabaret Nights at Hilton", cabaret shows which have been enjoyed by international cycus stars and some Romanian celebrities.
In 2002,
Horia Brenciu did the first step for HB Orchestra, a powerful project very
active in the background for many artists in Romania. A project with thousands
of concerts and live acts, at present the project with Julie Mayaya,
the winner from Vocea României can
be watched at Antena
1 in the show Serviciul Român de
Comedie. In 2007 Brenciu released his first album, 35, and in 2008 he
received some awards from Radio Romania International in "The best male
voice" category.
