Dangerous é o oitavo álbum de estúdio em carreira solo do artista americano Michael Jackson. Foi lançado pela Epic Records em 26 de novembro de 1991. Seu primeiro álbum sob seu novo contrato com a Sony Music. O álbum marca o término da parceria de 12 anos entre Jackson e Quincy Jones na produção, e também marca como sendo o primeiro a ser completamente produzido por Michael Jackson. Dangerous vendeu mais de 32 milhões de cópias em todo o mundo, sendo 7 milhões somente nos Estados Unidos, sendo um dos álbuns mais vendidos de todos os tempos. O álbum produziu quatro singles de top 10 na Billboard Hot 100, incluindo três número um. Semelhante ao material anterior do músico, elementos de características do álbum música de R&B, pop e rock, incorporando também um gênero mais recente, new jack swing, após a inclusão do produtor Teddy Riley para o projeto.

"Heal the World" é uma canção de Michael Jackson incluída do álbum Dangerous (1991) e lançada em 1992 como sexto compacto promocional do disco. Na faixa, o astro faz um apelo por um mundo melhor. Antes de entrar na melodia, há uma introdução composta e conduzida pelo maestro Marty Paich (1925-1995), em que uma criança pede: "pense nas futuras gerações e diga que você quer fazer um lugar melhor para uma criança. Assim elas saberão que terão um mundo novo para viver". A cantora brasileira Xuxa traduziu a música em espanhol como Curar El Mondo.
