Scorpions é uma banda de rock originária de Hanôver, Alemanha fundada em 1965 pelo guitarrista Rudolf Schenker, sendo a primeira banda de hard rock formada no país germânico. No início eram chamadas de Nameless (aqueles sem nomes), depois passou para The Scorpions até o final de 1969, depois foram chamados simplesmente de Scorpions. O primeiro álbum da banda foi o LP Lonesome Crow de 1972, com os irmãos Rudolf e Michael Schenker nas guitarras. No ano seguinte, Michael deixa a banda e foi substituído pelo guitarrista Uli Jon Roth, que gravou os álbuns Fly to the Rainbow, em 1974, In Trance em 1975, Virgin Killer, em 1976 e Taken by Force em 1977. O último trabalho da "era Uli Jon Roth" é o álbum ao vivo Tokyo Tapes de 1978.

"Rock You Like a Hurricane" é um single da banda de hard rock alemã Scorpions. A canção faz parte do álbum "Love at First Sting" de 1984, faixa dois. Em 2006, a VH1 nomeou "Rock You Like a Hurricane" número 31 em suas 40 Melhores Canções de Metal e em 2009 foi nomeada 18ª melhor canção de hard rock de todos os tempos também pela VH1. Em 15 de novembro de 2010, foi nomeada o quarto melhor riff da década de 1980.
